Description of Work and Background:

I am an IAHIP accredited Supervisor, (level 9 Certificate in Clinical Supervision with The Gestalt Institute of Ireland and SETU),
As a seasoned Gestalt therapist and Supervisor, I am passionate about fostering the growth and development of fellow practitioners in this transformative field.
My aim in supervision is to create a safe and supportive space where it is possible to explore clinical challenges, enhance therapeutic skills and deepen an understanding of the Gestalt process.
My focus is providing collaborative relationship to cultivate self-awareness, keeping awareness on the therapeutic relationship and integrating theory with practice, all while encouraging the therapist to grow his/her own unique style and intuitive creativity.
Simultaneously, I encourage in-depth reflection on the supervisees’ practice that emphasises ethical principles and practices in accordance with the guidelines of their accrediting bodies and that manages safeguarding, and risk management.
While my core theoretical knowledge is Gestalt, I feel competent to be able to support supervisees who are trained in other modalities.
I work with students, pre-accredited and accredited psychotherapists.

My preference is working face to face however I am available to see supervisees online if required.
I have a private practice just outside Gorey in Co. Wexford, where I work as a Gestalt Psychotherapist and Supervisor
