GII is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.  Please read this statement carefully as it sets out the basis on which the personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed.

The information we collect

The information we collect from you when you sign up to ‘Stay informed’ includes your full name and email address.

GII uses the lawful basis of legitimate interest to process your data.  When you submit personal information to us, it will only be used for the stated purpose and any reasonable incidental purposes.  This means that we will only contact you to inform you about GII news and events.

GII will not sell or rent any personally identifiable information to any third party.

So that we can provide you with information about forthcoming workshops please ensure that your contact details are accurate and current.  You have the right to review the data held or to be given a copy.

Full details of how to make a Subject Access Request for a copy of your personal data are available on the Data Commissioner website.  Please note that we may request additional information to enable us to validate your identity.  We will respond to a valid request, made in writing, within 1 month of receipt.  You also have the right to ask that information is erased if we do not have a legitimate reason for retaining it.
