Eugene Stephens

Description of Work and Background:

Eugene follows a humanistic and integrative approach. He aims to accompany his clients in a supportive holistic way. Thus increasing awareness of their power and potential. By identifying blocks they are afforded the opportunity for growth and change, experiencing life in the here-and-now in a more rewarding and meaningful way. He works with the full array of issues in presenting adolescents, adults and couples. Eugene is also trained in suicide prevention.

In a professional capacity, he spent many years in the industry working from ground level to board level. In a private capacity, he also gained experience working with groups, voluntary, statutory, and community-based, in the interest of social inclusion. He also spent a number of years working as a therapist at community level and in the counselling department of the University of Limerick.

He is a keen sportsman and represented Ireland at an international level in Karate. This life experience combined with his professional training has equipped him well to deal with a range of emotional issues whether personal or business-related.

It is Eugene`s aim to provide a safe, supportive and non-judgemental environment to allow for his client's healing/growth.
