Description of Work and Background:

Geraldine Brennan is an accredited psychotherapist in private practise in Dublin 6 and Dublin 12, having trained for five years in the Gestalt Institute of Ireland (previously Irish Gestalt Centre).

I have experience of working with clients from a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, bereavement, anger, trauma, self-harm and personal growth. Finding someone that you’re comfortable talking to is as individual as you are. My philosophy is that each person is unique and has the capacity to grow and develop a better understanding of him/herself. My qualifications and experience in counselling are complemented by over twenty years of work as a professional in business and management. This further helps me to understand the real-life issues, challenges and difficulties people face as part of life. I am passionate about my work, Gestalt Therapy, and fundamentally believe in our human capacity to adapt to changing circumstances.
