Description of Work and Background:

I am a qualified psychotherapist working in private practice centrally located in Castlebar, Co Mayo.
I trained with the Gestalt Institute of Ireland.
I hold a Master’s degree & Postgraduate Diploma in Gestalt Therapy. I am an accredited member of the Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrated Psychotherapy. https://iahip.org and ICP https://www.psychotherapycouncil.ie

I work from a holistic, person-centred method following the client’s lead. I provide a private, confidential counselling service and work with individuals experiencing a wide spectrum of difficulties/challenges. I provide a non-judgemental, supportive and safe space.

Alongside my private practice, I spend time volunteering with a number of services. I worked as a psychotherapist in Boyle Family Resource Centre, Co Roscommon and Tacu Family Resource Centre, Ballinrobe Co Mayo. I am a trained Rainbow Facilitator with The Family Centre, Castlebar.

I have a wide range of experience working with groups and individuals. I worked for 25 years in the retail sector working in HR, Training, and Development before embarking on a life-changing career in Counselling. I draw from my experience working creatively with clients bringing all of my experience to my practice.
