Description of Work and Background:

I completed my Masters in Gestalt Psychotherapy in 2021. I hold a Diploma in Gestalt Psychotherapy (2010), Diploma in Autism and a Certificate in Cognitive behavioural therapy. I am a member of The Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy.
I work from my private practice in Limerick working with a Humanistic and Integrative approach. I engage with the human condition as it presents, with the difficulties and distress people experience in their lives. I have experience in a wide range of difficulties & challenges clients (adolescents and adults) present with.
I provide a confidential, trust-building and safe space for my clients to reflect and explore how they are in the world relationally with self and others. I am committed in supporting my clients as they make their choices to live their lives more meaningful.
I am trained in Suicide Prevention and Self-Harming mitigation having worked in Suicidal Prevention service for 6.5 years.
I have expertise in working with the Autism Condition. I work as an Autism Instructor & behavioural support role with the HSE disabilities service. I run a resilience programme for service users presenting with the Autism Condition.
I also work with different approaches using behavioural techniques (relaxation and stress reduction techniques), mindfulness and guided meditation and a creative approach (sand space and art).
