Description of Work and Background:

I graduated from the IGC in 2001. I found the training very supportive and enriching. There was an atmosphere of acceptance and respect for each one which really encouraged us as trainees to blossom and develop to our full potential of what we were capable at the time. I also trained for three years with Vincent Humphries in the Dublin Gestalt Institute. Since then I worked for ten years on the training team of the M.Sc in Psychotherapy run by Turning Point, Dun Laoghaire and left that to pursue training with Ruella Frank, Gestalt and Somatic Development trainer based in New York. I have just completed training in Clinical Supervision with the Dublin Gestalt Centre and am about to start a two year training in the Italian Gestalt School on the Gestalt Approach to Modern Disturbances. I have found the Gestalt Approach to everything so wholesome and feel that sense of living in the present and exploring the field in a relational way so nourishing. It is how I work and how I try to live my life.
