Sandra Mullen

Description of Work and Background:

Sandra is a graduate of the Gestalt Institute of Ireland and is an IAHIP accredited Gestalt Psychotherapist and Supervisor working in private practice in Dublin.
Sandra works from a humanistic and integrative approach supporting people with a range of psychological and emotional issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, problematic relationships, addiction, loss, and life transitions. Sandra has a deep belief in each person's potential for growth and their capacity to respond to change and find meaning and direction in their lives. In her work she emphasises the importance of the therapeutic relationship providing a supportive and safe environment for the exploration and development of deeper personal wholeness and integration
Sandra has a background in community development with over 25 years’ experience working in the community and voluntary sector developing programmes and interventions for marginalised groups including individuals and families affected by substance misuse. She is also a facilitator, trainer, and organisational consultant with extensive experience in the areas of team development workplace learning and practitioners’ self-care
Sandra offers both short- and long-term psychotherapy based on the needs of the individual.
