Description of Work and Background:

Sandra is an IAHIP accredited Gestalt Psychotherapist in private practice in the Dublin Gestalt Centre and in Crannog Psychological Services, Tallaght. Sandra has a background in personal and community development with over 20 years’ experience of working with individuals, groups and organisations across the community and voluntary sectors delivering educational, vocational and personal development programmes, developing community-based services and supporting individuals and families to overcome difficulties in their lives and in their work.

Sandra works from a humanistic and integrative approach, she has a deep belief in each person’s potential for growth and in their capacity to respond to change and find meaning and direction in their life. In her work as a therapist, she emphasises the importance of the therapeutic relationship, providing a supportive and safe environment for the exploration and development of deeper personal wholeness and integration through awareness in the ‘here and now’. Sandra works with individuals and couples and offers both short and long-term psychotherapy sessions based on the needs of clients. She works with a range of psychological and emotional issues including stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, problematic relationships, addiction, trauma, loss and life transitions.
