Description of Work and Background:

I first trained as a counsellor in 1998 with the Rape Crisis Network Ireland. The experiential nature of this training led me to begin my own personal journey of self-exploration and I trained with the Irish Gestalt Centre.

I work as a therapist and supervisor in private practice, with particular expertise in trauma. I have found Gestalt Therapy to be an effective counselling method both personally and professionally and have worked with issues such as trauma, depression, anxiety, bereavement, sexual abuse, relationship issues, work-related issues and sexuality. I continue to be in awe of people’s capacity to grow and change when given a safe, creative space to explore their world. I believe that everyone has to capacity to heal and grow, sometimes we need support along the way. I offer one-to-one counselling, couple counselling and supervision.
